Safari Description
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to the Northern Circuit
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari representative. After a pre-departure briefing, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha.
The afternoon offers options for a gentle introduction to Arusha: stroll through the central market, visit the Cultural Heritage Centre, or enjoy a quiet dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants and Ancient Baobabs
Following breakfast, embark on a two-hour drive in the south-western direction along the Maasai steppe to reach Tarangire National Park. Large herds of elephants, enormous baobabs and a great variety of birds are the main attractions of Tarangire.
On the afternoon safari, concentrate on the Tarangire River corridor to observe lions, leopards, and a variety of birds. Come back to your lodge for dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Flamingos and Tree-Climbing Lions
Drive north to Lake Manyara National Park. Begin the morning game drive in the forest zone, looking for olive baboons, blue monkeys, and Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions.
In the afternoon, explore the lakeshore to witness flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and other waterbirds against the backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Africa’s Greatest Natural Amphitheatre
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 metres along a steep track through montane forest to the crater floor.
Spend the day exploring one of Africa’s most biologically dense ecosystems, with reliable sightings of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and black rhinos, as well as flamingos and hippos. Return to your crater rim lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park – The World’s Greatest Wildlife Stage

In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive and see a variety of animals that the Serengeti is famous for, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
