Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and Afternoon Game Drive

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your designated location. You will be picked up from a hotel in Arusha at around 6:00 AM for the drive to Serengeti. The journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, you will check into a lodge and settle in. You will then be served lunch.

After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Serengeti is renowned for its rich biodiversity, and your guide will ensure you see species such as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and antelopes, among others. Depending on the season, you may be lucky enough to witness the Great Migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras roam the plains. After the wonderful wildlife exploration, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Departure

After breakfast, you will leave the lodge and head out for a morning game drive. At this hour, predators are often still active, and you may witness lions on the hunt or cheetahs. The early morning light is perfect for photography, and your guide will know all the best spots to capture the wildlife in their most beautiful setting. As you drive through the park, you might come across large herds of wildebeest, gazelles, leopards and many more. You are also most likely to spot birds and many more wildlife species

After some time spent exploring the wide-open plains, your Tanzania safari can include a stop at a Serengeti kopje. These unique rock formations are scattered throughout the park and provide stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. A short hike to the top of one of these kopjes is a great way to stretch your legs, take in the view, and learn about the geological history of the region. The guide will then drive you back to the lodge for lunch and after checkout. The guide will then drive you back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will either be dropped off at a hotel of your choice or be taken to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of the 2 days Serengeti National Park safari.
