14 days Tanzania and a beach safari: Tanzania Wildlife Safaris.

The 14 days Tanzania and beach safari is a combined safari for tourists who wish to visit Tanzania’s famous national parks and Zanzibar, which are two of the most excellent and popular safari destinations on the African continent that should not be missed on the bucket list of any serious traveller who wishes to do an African safari.

Tanzania is a wonderful wildlife safari destination, and, on the days you will spend in this beautiful destination, you will explore amazing wildlife destinations including Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park in one safari. 

Day 1: Arrival.

On arrival in Arusha, you will be met by your friendly Tanzania safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport; he will welcome you and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will know what to expect and be transferred to your booked hotel in Arusha. Have dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 2: Exploring Arusha.

After breakfast, you will head to Arusha city for a city tour on foot, visiting famous sites like the National History Museum, local markets, craft shops, monuments and others.

During the tour, you will have the chance to meet up with the locals and then taste the local food, seeing them doing their activities. Later, in the evening, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight. 

Day 3: Visiting Arusha National Park.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Arusha National Park for a game viewing experience, explore the park on a game drive and have a unique walking safari inside the park. During the game viewing experience, you will search for the massive animal species like buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, leopards, elephants, waterbucks and others, without forgetting bird species.

Later, drive to the lodge for lunch; after lunch, you will return to the park and enjoy a walking safari with an armed ranger. This is where you move through the rainforest heading to the spectacular waterfall, seeing colobus monkeys and forest birds. In the evening, you will return to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight. 

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.

Enjoy breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is renowned for its thrilling tree-climbing lions and a variety of wildlife. Once on arrival, check in to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will continue in the park for the game drive while searching for the amazing animals, including watching large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, elands, and flocks of flamingos at Lake Manyara, which is an alkaline lake located in the park. After that, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

Wake up early in the morning, enjoy breakfast, and then check out from your lodge and start your journey to Serengeti National Park through the wonderful views and farms of Karatu and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival and en route game viewing, you will check in to your lodge and then enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will head to the Seronera area for a game viewing experience to see many incredible animal species like cheetahs, leopards and lions lying on kopjes, and others like elands, gazelles, giraffes, wildebeest and many more. Later, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 6: Full day in Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then go for the full-day experience in the park. During the game drive, you will explore the park along the Sogore River circuit; this area attracts an abundance of wildlife like cape buffaloes, cheetahs, hartebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and many more.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge and enjoy lunch or have a picnic lunch. Later, return to the park for another game-viewing experience to see much of the wildlife that you missed during the morning game drive. After the game drive, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 7: Transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater from the Serengeti.

Enjoy breakfast, check out and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is a scenic drive. You will make a stopover at Olduvai Gorge, the famous historical and archaeological site with the history of the past to the start of humanity. Olduvai Gorge is where anthropologists Dr Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of early man.

Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enjoy your picnic lunch and later descend to the crater floor for a game-viewing experience. The crater has wonderful wildlife viewing sights, like cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, lions and many more. During the experience, you can also visit Lake Magadi, which is an alkaline lake in the south-western corner of the crater. At this lake, you enjoy the eye-catching views of many pink flamingos. Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 8: Game drive and transfer to Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast, you will check out and head out for a game drive with a packed lunch. Enjoy a game drive in the area surrounding the crater rim while watching more animals. After the packed lunch, you will transfer to Tarangire National Park.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the beautiful landscape of baobab trees and then continue with en route game viewing as you head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 9: Full day in Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to the park for a full day game drive with a packed lunch and start your game drive to see many animal species like lions, leopards, elephants, monkeys, eared oryxes, kudus and many others. You will explore the Tarangire River and have more wildlife sightings.

After your packed lunch, you will explore the park as well until you return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay. 

Day 10: Transfer by flight to Zanzibar.

After your breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then transfer back to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar at Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and then transfer you to your resort, where you will spend an evening of relaxing and enjoying the breeze of the Indian Ocean and wonderful, crystal-white sand beaches. Later dinner and overnight stay. 

Days 11 to 13: Exploring adventure activities on Zanzibar Island.

On days 11 and 13 of this vacation, you will explore the beauty and then participate in different activities in Zanzibar Island and the beaches, as well as enjoy quality time relaxing at the beach resort or doing other optional activities like visiting a spice farm, exploring Old Stone Town, and others like sailing, canoeing, and snorkelling. Later, drive to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay. 

Day 14: Departure Flight.

After your delicious breakfast, you will check out from your resort and then be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, depending on your flight schedule, which will bring your 14 days Tanzania and beach safari to an end.
