This 4 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari is a journey to 2 of Tanzania’s wildlife destinations, offering an opportunity to explore the country’s rich natural heritage. This Tanzania safari is aimed at giving you the chance to encounter all of the Big Five animals, along with other wildlife species found in these wildlife destinations. Depending on the season of travel, this safari may also provide you with the opportunity of witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration. The safari will begin and end in Arusha. Day 1: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Serengeti National Park
A professional driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and begin the drive to Serengeti National Park. Before setting off to Serengeti National Park. The guide will first brief you about the safari and then set off. Upon arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will check in at a lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti plains. You will be accompanied by a professional guide, and the first encounter with the park exposes you to its exciting and eye-catching biodiversity, which includes lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous antelope species.
If your visit matches the Great Wildebeest Migration season, you may witness the wildebeest migration. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive in Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will head out for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Early mornings are the best time to spot predators such as lions and leopards, as they are most active during the cooler hours of the day. The morning game drive will last for about 4 hours. The guide who will escort you to the game drive will give you information on all your sightings.
After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge, where you will be served lunch, then check out and begin your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, where you will relax as you enjoy the stunning views around it. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3: Full-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will receive a briefing session from your guide before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. This crater is home to all the big five animals. The game drive will start around 6:00 am in the morning and end in the evening. During this time, you will have the opportunity to spot lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and many other species. The crater is also a haven for birdlife, including flamingos and many more.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while viewing wildlife. After lunch, the game drive will continue as you explore more areas of the crater before ascending back to the lodge in the evening. The evening will be spent relaxing at the lodge, and afterwards you will have dinner and an overnight stay.
