Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
When the 4 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari starts our experienced driver guide will come to collect you at your Arusha spot or Kilimanjaro International Airport. A staff member will explain your safari plans before you start driving to Serengeti National Park. You will pass through and see both the Great Rift Valley’s beauty and local Maasai village homes with scenic background.
You will pause at Ngorongoro Conservation Area to witness its spectacular crater and relax during the break. You will move from Serengeti Park while taking a planned lunch stop before passing through the facility entrance. The first activity upon arriving is an evening game drive that lets you hunt for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. You will return to your accommodation after dinner for rest.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Your morning breakfast on day 2 leads you into a full-day exploration of Serengeti National Park wildlife. The Serengeti draws visitors because it features open savannah lands loaded with animals plus yearly migratory movements of wildebeests and zebras.
Your game drive tour will cover every part of the park and examine the Seronera Valley which is known for having many large cats living together. You will probably spot numerous elephants dominating the landscape as well as buffalo and hyena alongside various bird species.
You will enjoy your lunch right in the bush to make the most of game viewing time. A full day of wildlife observation leads back to the guest accommodations where you will enjoy dinner and rest for the night.
Day 3: Morning game drive in Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
At dawn on the third day you will go on a early game drive across Serengeti National Park to observe the sunrise and watch as hyenas, lions, and leopards end their nocturnal hunts. The first game drive in the morning lets you witness predators working while tracking giraffe, gazelle, and hippo activity.
At breakfast you will finish your stay while awaiting our next destination to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will see multiple animals together with beautiful landscapes during your drive to the final destination. You will settle into lodging at Ngorongoro where you will enjoy dinner and spending the night.
Day 4: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and departure.
Early in the morning you will drive down Ngorongoro Crater which UNESCO has named a World Heritage Site and one of the biggest volcanic calderas left unaltered. The crater supports 25,000 animals and their territory includes all Big Five species: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes.
Our game drive will take you across different Ngorongoro Crater ecosystems to witness savannah grassland, swamp, and acacia forest habitats. During your tour you will observe wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and hyenas along with their jackal partners plus flamingoes bathing in Lake Magadi and other bird species.
You will leave the morning encounters with wildlife to reach the crater walls for your lunch at a prepared site. Your 4 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari ends when you return from the crater exploration to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
