Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel by our safari guide, followed by a flight from Zanzibar airport to the Serengeti airstrip. Arriving in the Serengeti in the late morning, embark on a series of game drives, exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes until the afternoon. Later, you will return to the lodge for a delicious lunch before setting out on another remarkable game drive, culminating in the breathtaking spectacle of a Serengeti sunset. Back at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After having a yummy breakfast, continue with more exhilarating game drives. The full-day game drive allows you to maximise your wildlife viewing opportunities, or you can split the day into morning and evening sessions. Expecting to enjoy the freedom to tailor your Tanzania safari experience to your preferences.

During your game drive, you will be able to spot a bucket of animal lists, such as the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos) and possibly millions of migrating wildebeest and zebras. Other residents include cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas and various bird species. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After morning breakfast, head out for another thrilling game drive, exploring different areas of the Serengeti. As the day draws, you will return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Post lunch, you will complete your checkout procedures and start your journey back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Arriving at your lodge, check in and enjoy a hearty dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Departure

After having breakfast at leisure, we descended into the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhino, known as one of the most challenging animals to watch in the wild.

The crater, which often stands as Africa’s version of ‘Noah’s Ark’, is home to a wide array of wildlife, including big cats, rhinos, elephants, and hyenas, as well as more fascinating creatures. You will have the thrilling opportunity to spot these unique animals in their natural habitat. As the day progresses, you will pause for a relaxing lunch break at Hippo Lake, surrounded by the sights of the crater.

In the afternoon, another amazing game drive awaits as you ascend back to the crater rim. Later, you will return to your lodge to check out procedures. Make your way to Arusha Airport, where you will catch an afternoon flight back to Zanzibar for your next destination. End of the safaris.
