Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park
You will start the safari by having your driver guide pick you up at your Arusha location or Kilimanjaro International Airport for the first day. You will start your trip to Serengeti National Park after learning about the safari operation from a brief guide. The travel from Arusha to Serengeti National Park requires 5 to 6 hours by car through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, along with breathtaking views of Africa’s landscapes.
After lunch on the way, you will travel to the Serengeti destination. The drive gets you into a game-viewing opportunity which allows you to spot zebra, gazelle, giraffe and numerous bird species all the way to your campsite destination. The checking procedure will be followed by relaxation sessions before dinner, while you prepare for upcoming outdoor activities. The park accommodates guests at its basic campsite facilities within its central region.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Active exploration in the Serengeti begins with a morning breakfast, followed by a complete daily expedition through its endless plains and wild animal observation. An agency-provided meal enables you to tour the Seronera Valley while watching lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas among the abundant wildlife.
Millions of wildebeests and zebras make the Serengeti their seasonal migration route during their search for better grazing areas. You have the chance to encounter elephants together with buffaloes, hippos and warthogs and many species of birds along your journey. When our day at the game drive ends, visitors will have breakfast and finish the checkout process before starting the return trip to Arusha. Your journey will include lunch at the stopover point on the route until you reach Arusha by late afternoon. Your driver guide will transport you to your specified drop-off point or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
